
What is the Florida Atlantic University Habitat for Humanity campus chapter? This campus chapter is a student-led, student-initiated organization on the FAU campus that partners with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County to fulfill the four functions of a campus chapter.
The four functions of campus chapters: 1) Building 2) Fundraising 3) Advocating 4) Educating
Benefits of Membership: 1) Involvement with a nationally recognized group 2) Leadership Opportunities 3) Participation in the Collegiate Challenge 4) Eligibility to receive end of the semester awards 5) Socials / Networking Opportunities
A portion of membership dues goes towards the annual charter.
How Do I Join?
- Fill-out the online membership application. A representative will be in touch with you within a week. If not, please contact Alyse Lemstrom, FAU Campus Chapter President, 239-850-2735 alemstro@fau.edu
- Annual Dues of $15 are due by April 23 (You will not be added to membership until dues are paid.)
- Checks should be made payable to Habitat for Humanity and mailed to:

What are the Membership Requirements?
- Attend at least 2 Chapter meetings in 12 months
- Sign-up and Show-up for at least 4 build shifts in 12 months
- Recruit at least one new friend to Sign-up and Show-up for at least one of your build shifts
