Group Volunteers

"I have to say, never have I had a sunburn so memorable!  To put my hands to work on something other then a Keyboard and mouse was fantastic.  Kaplan’s sponsorship was a great idea and I hope the encourage employees to commit to the community more frequently. Also, I say, who needs a Gym membership?!?  Best 4 hours of work I have done since I was in High School.  Looking forward to future sites and volunteers.  Best wishes for future families, truly a human element program!!!"

A wide variety of faith-based, civic, community and corporate groups choose to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County.  One of the many reasons organizations choose to partner with Habitat is to participate in an activity that fosters a lasting impact on our community.

Through volunteering, group members gain a sense of pride and accomplishment by working together to improve the quality of life of a deserving family in need.  Group sizes range from 5-20 people.  Often, larger groups choose to sponsor a corporate workday or sponsor a home.

Please understand that, in general, 20 volunteers is the maximum number of volunteers we can keep busy at one time on one worksite.  If your group is scheduled to bring 10 volunteers and 20 arrive; and we have another group of 15 scheduled; then it might be difficult to have work for everyone.
